We’re back!! After a long year and a half, the Smith school is proud to announce that this year, the annual Undergraduate Marketing Conference(UMC) will be live and in person! Last year we had a blast at our virtual conference, and this year we are back again with some more networking, workshops, fun and food! The American Marketing Association provides the opportunity for students to come together and immerse themselves in the world of marketing. It is a tremendous opportunity to absorb marketing strategies and tools to evaluate your objectives and goals. Whether you are an expert in the marketing field or have never heard of it, a Maryland Terp or not, don’t miss this event! There will be keynote speakers, interactive activities, and marketing professionals open to any questions you may have. Join us at this year’s conference and meet your favorite companies or learn about new companies you’ve never heard of. Tell your friends and classmates about this year’s most incredible event, see you there!

Our theme this year is Tech To the Future! It’s 2021, and although there aren’t flying cars on the road, the world’s technology has certainly changed throughout the years. The question is, how different? How will tech evolve even more in the next 10-15 years? How has the evolution of technology shifted the marketing field? One way to find out is by coming to AMA’s Fall 2021 UMC event of the year! Technology is all around us, constantly changing, always changing us and the way we communicate with each other and the way we consume as customers. This year’s event will host an exciting group of company representatives to showcase all the different facets of marketing in a world full of tech. You don’t want to miss this!

Join us and five other speakers representing your favorite companies for a full day of workshops and exciting panel discussions! Whether you're a freshman or a senior, don't be afraid to put yourself out there. Come with questions to discuss with our panel of speakers, come with friends, and come ready to be amazed!
